Stop At: Waitangi National Trust & Treaty House, Waitangi National Trust Estate New Zealand

The birth place of our nation Waiting holds a unique place in the hearts of all New Zealanders.

From Waitangi we will drive across to the other side of the bay to the site of New Zealand's first capital and the town of Kororareka or Russell once known as the 'Hell Hole of the Pacific' before heading back to Auckland.

Stop At: Cruise to the Hole in the Rock, 69 Marsden Road, Paihia 0200, New Zealand

Instead of the Treaty House and Russell option you can take a cruise out to Motu Kōkako, also known as Piercy Island but known to Kiwi's as 'the hole rock.' Your cruise will take you across the bay of Islands and past some of the 144 islands that make up the Bay of Islands.
