Stop At: Porirua Harbour, Porirua 6006 New Zealand

Your itinerary will reflect your interests, time available and the weather. If there is something particular you have in mind, please let us know. We will stop for lunch along the way, location based around when hunger strikes (included in price).

Heading north, we start with Porirua Harbour, where we visit Titahi Bay and Pātaka Art Museum.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Queen Elizabeth Park, Paraparaumu 5034 New Zealand

Driving the Centennial Highway to the delightful seaside village of Paekākāriki, we check out the village & the beach. We can also visit QEII Park museum dedicated to the 15,000 US troops stationed there in WWII.

Stop At: Battle Hill Farm Forest Park, 610 Paekakariki Hill Road, Porirua 5381 New Zealand

Offering incredible views of the Kāpiti Coast, we will drive over the Paekākāriki Hill to the Hutt Valley. Along the way we will stop for photos, possibly meet some eels at the historic Battle Hill Farm & see the wetlands of Pāuatahanui.

Stop At: Petone Settlers Museum, The Esplanade Petone, Wellington 6008 New Zealand

Our next leg is through the beautiful Hutt Valley to Petone Beach. Here you can choose to wander through the bush, explore the shops or visit the Settlers Museum at Petone Beach, where the first British settlers arrived in Wellington in 1840.

Stop At: Wellington Botanic Garden, 101 Glenmore Street, 6012 New Zealand

Returning to the city, we will drive along the Harbour’s edge on land raised in the massive 1855 earthquake. If time and interest permit, we will finish off with a visit to the Botanic Gardens, before dropping you at your preferred location.
