Hanmer Springs Jetboat and Quad Biking combo

Jetboat the entire length of Hanmer's spectacular Waiau Gorge. Take in the magnificent scenery, then hold on while you experience the famous Hamilton jet spin. This beautiful alpine river features narrow gorges, braided shallows and white water rapids. Travel over 30 kilometres of exciting jetboating and spectacular scenery. Your journey on the water lasts at least 30 minutes and you should allow 1 hour for the whole experience including the safety briefing. 

Put yourself in control of a four-wheel quad bike. Challenge the terrain, with river crossings, mud, dust, dirt and excitement. This guided Quad Bike tour will show you some of the real back country New Zealand as you pass through farmland, sheep trails, rivers, sand and bush. You can choose to ride your own bike or ride tandem with another person (subject to age restrictions). Y Two hours of adventure in the beautiful natural mountain environment of Hanmer Springs. 

The Jetboats and the Quad Biking depart from the Hanmer Springs Attractions river base at the Ferry Bridge over the Waiau River on State Highway 7A, North Canterbury.

Departures times are usually 10am or 2pm for the Quad Bikes and 11am, 1pm and 3pm for the Jetboat. When you book the combo our staff will arrange the best times to suit you.

The Jetboat takes passengers on a 30 minute journey, 30 km's down the Waiau River gorge and the drivers will provide a commentary of the area.

The Quad Bikes take passengers on a 2 hour excursion through stunning NZ countryside, with river crossings, mud, farmland and forest trails. A commentary is provided.

Customers can be picked up and dropped off to their accommodation in Hanmer Springs.

Customers must fit safety equipment in order to participate.
