Itinerary Ideas - sit back and relax. We've planned it all

Day 1 : Arrive in Queenstown

You'll travel to Queenstown arriving either by car, coach, or by flying into the airport in Frankton. Upon arrival you'll check in to your accommodation, settle in and get acquainted with your surroundings for the next 3 nights.

This afternoon take the opportunity to cross Lake Wakatipu on the vintage TSS Earnslaw and enjoy the farmstead tour, meet the local sheep and sheep dog, and enjoy a delicious buffet meal. Later on enjoy sampling the bars and cocktails while enjoying the nightlife on offer - Queenstown is a good night out, any night of the week!

Day 2 : Arrowtown + Gibbston Valley or Glenorchy + Paradise

Today you could decide to take a slower relaxed pace and visit the charming village of Arrowtown before sampling the cheese and wine at the vineyards of Gibbston Valley and perhaps taking a walk around tranquil Lake Hayes. This area is especially breathtaking each autumn when the colours of the trees turn all shades of yellow, orange and red.   

Or if you're one for breathtaking vistas, and film locations you'll want to make time to visit Glenorchy and Paradise. The adventure begins with the Tommy Thomson Scenic Drive, and once you've arrived you can enjoy 4WD, horse rides, jet boats or funyaks to get the most out of your time here.

After dark, bathe in the soothing Onsen Hot Pools from a scenic vantage point under a sky full of stars, surrounded by lanterns.

Day 3 : Day of leisure

With such a huge variety of awesome activities on offer here, we'll leave this day free for you to decide closer to the time. Perhaps you'll be brave enough to Bungy Jump in the same spot the first commercial jumps were conducted from. Or take in the spectacular scenery on one of the great walks available within easy reach of the town centre. Head up the top of Bobs Peak by taking the Skyline Gondola for a birds eye view over the city, and that classic photo, before jumping on The Luge gravity-fueled three-wheel carts for a bit of fun. Keep the smiles on your face by ziplining back down to town through the forest.

Another idea is Charge About on electric bikes exploring the scenic trails lakeside, then freak yourselves out at the Fear Factory and then calm the nerves with a relaxing massage at Body Sanctum Spa.
