When you book with WineVentures you’re guaranteed a fully escorted wine tour in a small group of no more than six people. Shirley, a wine industry professional, will personally guide you around North West Auckland on a tour that includes lunch, scenic views, and up to eight premium wine tastings from each cellar door visited.

You’ll be driven in style in our sleek, Multivan CL Volkswagen with plenty of legroom and adjustable seating for groups who wish to converse during the tour. At the end of your tour we will drive you back to your central Auckland location.

Itinerary

Stop At: Kumeu, Kumeu, North Island

Our wine tour will visit four vineyards in Auckland focusing on the Kumeu sub-region. The tour will visit a selection of the following wineries: Babich, Coopers Creek, Kumeu River, Villa Maria, The Hunting Lodge or Westbrook. On fine days we will tour the vineyards to explore how grapes are grown to achieve the best vintage.

We’ll also visit Lavender Hill for a tour of their lavender farm, which is set on seven acres of land. After the tour you’ll have an opportunity to sample their award winning gins and limoncello.
