What you will see on your Rotorua tour today - boiling mud, hot water pools, steam vents and the awesome geothermal activity of Kuirau Park. We visit the Blue & Green Lakes, take a short walk through the towering 120-year-old Redwood Forest. A visit to a Maori Marae and explore downtown Rotorua lakefront and highlights. We take a different route back to port, exploring Tauranga City before returning you to your waiting ship

PRIVATE TOUR: After pick up from Port, we tour downtown Mount Maunganui New Zealand’s most popular holiday beach town. We take a short walk out to beautiful Moturiki Island. Visit a Kiwifruit orchard. Pass stunning scenery, orchards, lush farmland, forests, lakes, waterfalls.

Visit Kuirau Park where you see and experience boiling mud pools, natural hot springs, and steam vents, a Maori Marae, the Blue and Green Lakes, and the Buried Village of Te Wairoa which was destroyed in 1886 when Mount Tararewa erupted. We visit the enchanting Redwood Forest, Rotorua’s lakefront, Government Gardens and the historical architectural gem the Elizabethan Spa Bath House. A stop for lunch at a delightful cafe. We complete our tour by returning to Port via the Old Scenic Rotorua to Tauranga State Highway passing through Tauranga City, over the Harbour Bridge to your waiting ship on time onboard well before sailing hour.
