Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Tour Shop, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010 New Zealand

Our day begins with your pick-up from your Auckland CBD City hotel or accommodation.

Heading north we pass over the spectacular Harbour Bridge with its view of two inner harbours and the thousands of sailing vessels that give us the nickname "City of Sails". Admire the scenery as it unfolds in front of you and take in the majestic sight of Rangitoto Volcano in the near distance.

Enjoy the journey as we continue to travel through pretty seaside villages. Our first stop at an impressive coastal lookout is an ideal opportunity to take some great photos.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Honey Centre, Corner of State Highway One & Perry Road, Warkworth, Auckland 0983 New Zealand

Calling into the Honey Centre is a must-do popular on all our tours. Try this area's Manuka Honey, famous for its unique healing properties, or taste exotic blendings such as blueberry honey. Maybe sample a mead drink, something quite different!

Have a browse in the gift shop where you will find a great range of honey related products including candles, jewellery & skincare.

It's here we get our freshly made espresso coffee, before we move on to the village of Matakana to explore more of this region.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Matakana Village Farmers' Market, 2 Matakana Valley Road, Matakana, Auckland 0985 New Zealand

On Saturdays, we call into the fantastic local farmers market where you can sample your way around with free tastings of the local wine, chocolate, honey, cheeses, pickles, dipping sauces & more here.

Friendly locals and live entertainment make for a bustling scene. Set amongst the quaint village shopping square, discover boutiques selling books, candles and designer clothes.

This is also the village to spot the prettiest public toilets in NZ. Described as functional art, they are certainly amongst the most photographed restrooms in the world!

We haven't got long here so make the most of the time, perhaps grab a small bite to eat from one of the many food stalls to keep you going until your late lunch of fish and chips.

* You may wish to bring a small amount of cash for purchases as some of the stallholders do not accept credit cards.

Duration: 30 minutes
