Itinerary

Two Hour Horse Trek Overview

Moderate level of fitness required and subject to rider weight.

Customers will be collected from Hanmer Springs Central in our 10 seater

shuttle and driven to site. (All customers must provide their own warm

clothing, closed footwear, sunscreen and required medication)

At collection all customers will be asked to fill out the Health and Safety

documents via an ipad through the wherewolf app.

Customers will watch a short safety video onboard the shuttle.

On arrival to trekking venue customers will be fitted with a helmet provided by

Hanmer Horse Treks.

Demonstration of mounting onto the horse is shown by Hanmer Horse

Trekking Staff and then customers are assisted onto their horse.

Once all customers are mounted on horses (max 6 riders per 1 guide) the

guide will then demonstrate basic horse riding skills required.

Any customers, which require special assistance (young / unsure riders) will

be led by the guide.

Trek will commence; duration is approximately two hours of riding time. Photo

and video opportunities are available through the duration of the horse trek.

The shuttle service will then return visitors to Hanmer Springs central.
