Pass By: Auckland Harbour Bridge, Curran St, Auckland Central, Auckland New Zealand

Our day's adventure begins with pick-up from your Auckland Central accommodation in our maximum 11-seater passenger van. We cruise along the city's waterline before we cross the spectacular Harbour Bridge with its incredible views across the sparkling waters with its thousands of sailing boats responsible for Auckland's nickname "City of Sails".

Our 1st destination is the picturesque seaside village of Devonport to visit Mt Victoria, an ancient volcano and one of the best vantage points in all of Auckland. A short walk up the hill rewards with views of iconic Rangitoto volcano in the near distance and the city skyline.

Back down to the village with its charming wooden houses for a well-earned coffee break of a freshly roasted espresso or juice. Indulge in a spot of shopping from any of the quirky boutique shops with an array of locally produced goods and gifts, pop into the art galleries or visit the local chocolate maker.

Stop At: Kumeu River Wines, 550 State Highway 16, Kumeu, Auckland 0841 New Zealand

Heading west out of Auckland, we visit wine country and depending on your wine style preference, we will stop at 1- 2 wineries to enjoy a sample tasting of some of NZ's unique wines.

By now you will have worked up a great appetite for lunch and we call in the wonderful Soljans Winery for another fantastic wine tasting and relax in their award-winning cafe for a set lunch option of 2 course meal including a glass of estate wine or juice (included).

Our late afteroon is spent on the the majestic west coast of Auckland. Combined with a scenic lookout over volcanic black sand beaches that stretch into the distance north and south, the dramatic sea that roars in as long white breakers views framed by waving flax and toi toi plants, this is a top Auckland must do.

We have time for walk to the lookout for photographs and a stroll along the black sand, before we make our way back to the city centre.

Our last stop of the day is freshly renovated Auckland Fish Market set in the heart of Auckland's newest waterside precinct of eateries and hip bars, sitting prettily alongside luxury sailboats of the inner harbour. Experience the hustle and bustle of a live fishmongers in action - this is where Aucklanders come to grab a bite to eat or socialise after work. And if we said here's the place to experience fresh Oysters - would we need to say anymore? After viewing the many types of NZ fish species, your choice to stay awhile and end your tour here as your inner city accommodation is only a short walking distance away.
