In our dog farm we have 45 beautiful draft dogs, which we enjoy from summer to winter. Our four-legged has taken us on a trip across the northern hemisphere. They have run the world's longest dog race Iditarod in Alaska and Europe's longest dog race Finnmarksløpet in Norway and even been on the North Pole. We now live in Svalbard and have the pleasure of offering small groups and often families with children tailor-made dog sledding trips.

On this tour you will learn and experience what Svalbard can really offer from experiences off the beaten track. Arctic Husky Travelers will make the long trip a memory of life. We have over 20 years of experience from dog sledding and expeditions in the Arctic. We have run the longest dog sled races in Alaska and Europe and been to the North Pole several times with dog sledging. On this tour, you will - in addition to unforgettable experiences - also learn the skills of dog sledding and winter outdoor life under challenging conditions. You do not need any previous dog sledding experience to participate, but you should be in average good physical shape. The weather in the Arctic is unpredictable and can change in a matter of hours. With both cold and wind it can quickly reach temperatures down to -15 ° C in May, but generally the first week of May is the best time for winter expeditions on Svalbard with 24h daylight, good heat from the sun and often fine weather.
