On this trip we have focus on storytelling from the early settlement of Alta up on today. We will drive past areas with historical spots and great nature in the inner Altafjord. We will also get close-up with the local wildlife, which can include, sea eagles, seals, birds and more.

Itinerary

Experience Alta from the seaside. Get an insight into Alta's unique history from the rock carving until modern time. On this trip we will start with a safety brief on our explorer store and get proper gear to explore the arctic ocean in a safe and comfortable way. After that we will have transport down to the harbor where we will find our boat.

NOTE: Due to bad weather conditions or not enough travelers we may reserve the right to cancel the tour for a full refund.

Starting point: Our Explorer Store in the city centre. 50 meters from Scandic Hotel and 100 meters from Thon Hotel.
