Tromso area is very popular among ski touring people and there are several nice and easy mountains for this sport. The specialty of the place is the mountains rising straight from the sea.

All the tours are customized to your and your group ski level, fitness and desires with snow safety taken into account. When planning the destination, quality of snow and snow safety are the things we concentrate. In Tromso area there are several good destination for the new beginners as well as the ones having already a bit experience.

Itinerary

We will meet in the morning at 8.00 (1-31.1.20) and at 9.00 (1.2-30.4.20) and go through the selected destination. Meeting point can be customized if your accommodation place is outside the city. After that we head out to the mountains and spend a great day outdoors, earning our turns in the backcountry and enjoy nature around us.

If you are a new beginner you should have following experience: You ski parallel turns with confident on the alpine park’s red slopes, have adventures mind and a good level of fitness, since we are breaking the trail up to the mountain couple of hours.

This tour can be made either skis or splitboard. If you do not have own equipment you can rent these out from Tromso Outdoor. You can rent all the other required equipment from them as well.
