Snowshoe Hike To Lievarden

On this trip, you will reach the iconic viewpoint of Lievarden. According to locals, this is one of the best viewpoint to soak in the views of the fjord, down below your feet. During the 4 hours round trip to Lievarden, you’ll be sandwiched by the Storfjord on one side and the snowy summits of the Sunnmøre alps on the other. 

We will meet up at our office 11.00 AM where you’ll get kitted up with snowshoes and poles for your the trip. After a short drive up (private cars) we will reach the starting point of this trip.

Once we reach the top of Lievarden, a truly unique and spectacular view over the fjord, Stranda and the surrounding mountains will be waiting for you. From here, we can also see towards Jostedalsbreen, Europe´s biggest inland glacier.

After a short break for lunch, we head back down again to the car by the way we came
