13 days tour give you opportunity to discover All Oman (east, west, north, south ) you will cross spectacular mountains, magical desert , charming wadi, historical spot, archaeological places, nature its full of adventure.

Travel in 4×4 vehicles, all equipment's for camping along with food and beverages is included in the packages

Itinerary

Day 1: Muscat - Nakhal fort and hot spring-Wadi Bani Awf -balad sayt - overnight in jabal Shams (Resort)

Stop At: Wadi Ghul - Oman's Grand Canyon, Al Hamra Oman
We will leave Muscat and drive to Nakhal. Here you can visit the beautiful Nakhal Fortress. Its lies at the foothills of the Al Hajar mountains in a nice village which grows extensive dates palm plantations. This magnificent 1500 years old fortress rises out of the mountain rock, towering high above the ancient village, as if still warning would-be attackers of its ominous strength.

It has witnessed many battles and its packed full of hidden escape routes and secret passages.

You can stroll around the inside of this restored fortress and visit all the rooms which have been nicely decorated in the original old style. The view from the top of the fortress over the mountains and green date plantations is outstanding. from there visit the hot spring The spring is tucked away among date farms a couple of kilometers from Nakhal Fort, and it flows year round with warm mineral water collected in the site pools. Several chairs and shades are provided in the “picnic area” near the pool.

From there we will drive into the Wadi Bani Awf. The road leads us through the Wadi, we will pass by impressive Wadi Canyons (snake canyon) and several small villages and the most beautiful village is balad sayt surrounded by mountains from all directions . Then we drive up the Mountain. This mountain road drive up to the Jebel Shams Mountain 3009 Meters its one of the most adventurous in Oman , offering existing off road experience and fantastic views. you will stay over night there in Jabal shams resort. buffet dinner and breakfast served.

Day 2: jabal shams - wadi Ghul– Al hamra (misfat Al Abreen Village) – overnight Nizwa (Hotel)

Stop At: Nizwa Souk, City Center Close to the fort, Nizwa 611 Oman
Leave Jabal Shams drive to wadi Ghul The village of Wadi Ghul, which is about 2000 years old located at the foot of Mountain Ghul and can be seen and you are on your way to Jabal Shams has been abandoned by its inhabitants and no one remained in, it has been built of solid stones.

from there drive into Wadi Nakhar its beautiful sites, spectacular view which derives its name from the local word (necrosis), which means the process of rock sculpture «erosion» as the water of this valley formed during the time periods.

Wadi Al Nakhar is one of the deepest valleys in Oman because of its geographical characteristics. The great gap in Jabal Shams is considered to be the most important source of water, since its large opening leads to valleys and reefs that form the valley of Al Nakhar.

then continue your way to visit ancient town of Al Hamra Then we drive up to Misfath Al Abreen. This pictures village lies on a steep slope at the foot of Jebel Shams, and consists of old homes and narrow streets.it has falaj system for many orchards, date palms and vegetables. It is worth to spend sometimes walking around the village. overnight in Nizwa Al Dyar Hotel

Day 3: Nizwa fort and market- wahiba sands- overnight in wahiba sands (Camping)

Stop At: Wahiba Sands, Jalan Bani Buhassan Oman
leave your hotel at 08:30 to visit Nizwa Souq. A wide variety of vendors offer their goods in the streets of the souk, Here you can find vegetables, pottery, jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs which are sold in authentic old market halls that few places can boast. Especially interesting is the Friday cattle market, when the locals from the nearby Villages come to sell their , goats, cattle, sheep and chickens in a circus style open market place

Next to the Souq is Nizwa Fortress. The fort is a museum today and offers splendid views of this ancient town and the surrounding mountains. You can walk around in this impressive fortress and visit its many rooms, passages and towers. The fort is an architectural testimony to the economic and military achievements of the early Yaruba dynasty from the mid-17th century. It was a military stronghold designed to withstand even the strongest of attacks at the time. Even along the corridors, many traps were laid to deter any intruders that might have penetrated the defenses.

From Nizwa continue your journey to the desert (Wahiba Sands) this spectacular desert has an ares of 12,500 Square kilometers The called also Al Sharqiya Sands, formerly known as "Wahiba Sands" is a region of desert in Oman The region was named for the Bani Wahiba tribe, divided between the northern and southern governorates in the Eastern Region. The area is defined by a boundary of 180 kilometers (110 mi) north to south and 80 kilometers (50 mi) east to west, watch the stunning sunset over the dunes.

Day 4: Wahiba sands – Wadi bani Khalid- Ras Al had – overnight at Ras al had (hotel)

Stop At: Ras al Hadd Castle, Sur Oman
today you have an opportunity also to watch the stunning sunrise in the desert, later on have your breakfast prepared by your guide then leave your camping place towards wadi bani khalid, Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful Wadis in Oman. Here you can swim, sunbath, relax in the beautiful scenic Wadi canyons .

from there drive to City of Sur, the famous Omanin Dhow Factory, where you can see traditional wooden Dhows being built. And we take you to the old part from Sur where most of the houses there designed by wooden doors and windows, from there continue your journey to ras Al Had overnight at Ras al had (hotel) at 08:00 P.M start off to watch the turtles.

Day 5: Ras Al had – Al Ashkharah – Ras Ar Ruways (camping)

Stop At: راس الرويس rasruwas, Unnamed Road، Oman
From today we will head to the south and we will drive by the sea. The sea of Oman we will pass on many of the sea villages and the largest and the most beautiful one is Al Askharah fishing village that will depend on fishing. We will visit Al Ashkharah, there you will see many fisher mans returning from the sea with huge quantities of fish and seafood.

continue driving to south enjoy the stunning sea view and fishing villages, you will reach your destination Ras al Ruways where the stunning white sand meets the turquoise open sea, you have opportunity to swim in the sea and watching the beautiful sunset.

Day 6: Ras Ar Ruways- Muhut- Over Night in Al Khaluf

Stop At: Khaloof Health Center, 32, Al Khaluf, Oman
after break fast leave Ras Al Ruways keep driving to south towards Muhut its one of the states of the central region of Oman overlooking the Arabian Sea, It was one of the most important ports of previous times. It was famous for shipbuilding, transporting passengers and goods from Oman to East Africa, India and other parts of the African continent, carrying Omani products and returning with goods that were not in Oman that time.

from there continue your journey towards Khaluf Beach,one of the nicest beaches in Oman and a place excite and calm white sugar dunes, rocky outcroppings, and sleepy fishing villages.

What makes this area special is its isolation. Since it is so far from Muscat, the area doesn’t get many visitors.

Day 7: Al khaluf- Ad Duqm- Ras Madrakah (camping)

Stop At: Ras Madrakah BEACH, Ras Madrakah, Oman
in the morning leave your camping place drive to Al Khaluf Village stop at fish market local peoples come with hug number of fresh fish and seafood selling and paying continue your journey to Al Duqm is famous of its geological attractions for the world.

It’s known as the Rock Garden Duqm, it’s a area of 3 square kilometer made of sand stones rocks and limestone , which was created in an underground water aquifer around more than Forty Six million years ago.

Rock Garden is a Great piece of nature’s Art work.

This Rock garden is full of anonymous rocks with different shapes , position , standing .Formed in unusual shapes , rounds rocks, big piece of rock standing on a small piece of stone stand,

and some seem like statues of animals.

This site is one of the top twenty five sites of Sultanate of Oman’s geological scientific importance.

from there continue your journy to Ras Madrakah moderate weather throughout the year, represented in the mountainous and rocky formations overlooking the Arabian Sea on one side and the soft golden sand on the other side, you can have walk in golden sands there or swim in the beautiful sea.

Day 8: Ras Madrakah – Al Jazir- Ras Sawqarah- Ash Shuwaymiyyah (camping)

Stop At: حديقة شليم, Shalim Wa Juzor Al Hallaniyyat, Oman
leave your camping place in the morning towards Al Jazir Most of the state's industries came from its location on the Arabian Sea, where the inhabitants of the state practice a variety of crafts and industries, including the manufacture of paddles and the manufacture of fishing nets and other industries such as the specialties and the industries of some tools of animal skins, pink pools one of the high light in Al Jazir.

from Al Jazir drive to wadi Ash Shuwaymiyyah This deep valley, carved by nature out of the surrounding land, plunges towards a rock-strewn coastline with dramatic cliffs as a backdrop.

enjoy walking in wadi Ash Shuwaymiyyah watch the sunset there with cup of tea or coffee.

Day 9: Ash Shuwaymiyyah – Thumrayt – Al shisr (the lost city) – Rub Al kahli (camping)

after your break fast drive towards Thumrayt you will pass many patrol fields you reach Thumrayt have lunch there then continue your journey to Al shisr (the lost city) One of the sites of Al Laban (Frankincense) Road, which is part of the World Heritage Sites in the Sultanate of Oman, is located in the province of Dhofar the state of Thamrit, the capital of the Badia (Najd Dhofar). It is at the southern end of the desert of the Empty Quarter. Evidence suggests that the site has been inhabited since the Stone Age.

Exploration and excavation work at Al-Shasar site revealed the existence of an ancient archaeological city (believed to be the city of "Erm" which is mentioned by God in the Holy Quran, the land of the people of Hood who did not create the same in the country as mentioned in the Qur'anic text) Continuous exploration of this important archaeological site. This archaeological site was discovered in 1990 by a group of archaeologists and was included in the World Heritage Organization for the most important.

from there drive about 80 KM to inter Rub Al Khali from South set up your camp and climb over high dune to watch sunset.

leave your camping place drive Deepen in the Empty Quarter (Rub Al Khali) Wherever you look, you see tall sand orange dunes and crystal stone that have been toned due to erosion. you will reach your camping place climb orange high dunes watch the marvelous sunset enjoy the silence of the second biggest desert in the world.

Day 12: Rub Al Khali – wadi Dawkah- Salalah overnight (hotel)

Stop At: Museum of the Frankincense Land, As Sultan Qaboos Street, Salalah 211 Oman
its the last day in rub alkhali after break fast drive towards wadi Dawkah, Wadi Doka is located in the Najd area behind the northern slopes of the Dhofar mountain range, 35 km north of Salalah city, and extends north towards the state of Thumrait.

It is one of the growth areas of the frankincense tree in Dhofar Governorate. It is a natural reserve for large frankincense trees and it is listed in the World Heritage List UNESCO.

From There continue your journey to salalah, reach your hotel check in after sunset start off to Al Hafah Market is a traditional market known as the city of Salalah, and the visitors of the city as a tourist and economic landmark. The Hafah market is located 3 km from the city of Salalah in Dhofar Governorate, surrounded by coconut trees. The market is known for the sale of incense and frankincense products and the market is full of many products, whether traditional textiles, or traditional clothing, ornaments, gold and silver, and many other traditional products.

It is considered the oldest market in Zafar.

Day 13: Taqah- Khawr Rawri( Samahram)- Wadi darbat-Mirbat- Khwar Al Balid

Stop At: Museum of the Frankincense Land, As Sultan Qaboos Street, Salalah 211 Oman
in the morning check out from your hotel, drive towards Taqah, In its cemetery Mazoon al-Mashani, the mother of Sultan Qaboos, is buried. Under identical marble gravestones an uncle and a grandfather of the Sultans are buried. from there continue your journey to Khor Rori reports that the town of Sumhuram was founded on royal initiative and settled by Hadhrami emigrants. The Dhofar region was the main source of frankincense in the ancient period, and it seems likely that the foundation of the settlement by the Hadhramaut was in part motivated by wish to control the production of this valuable commodity.

The excavations have uncovered the ground plan of the settlement and has attested maritime contacts with the Ḥaḑramite homeland, India and the Mediterranean. It was inscribed in 2000, along with other sites along the Incense Route in Oman, as part of the World Heritage site "Land of Frankincense".

from there continue your journey to Wadi Darbat Offering majestic views of the lakes, mountains, caves, wildlife and waterfalls, Wadi Darbat is surely a paradise for nature lovers and history enthusiasts. Watching the crystal clear water cascading down the 100 meter waterfall surrounded by lush greenery is surely a delight. Close to the waterfall are many natural cave chambers with stalagmites and old stalactites.

From there drive to Mirbat coastal town in the Dhofar governorate,

Mirbat (Moscha) was involved in the export of frankincense in ancient times, to places as far as China.

In ancient times Mirbat was the capital of Dhofar, with an income derived from the frankincense trade and from breeding Arabian horses, visit port of Mirbat and walk along old houses of mirbat.

Khwar Al Balid This lagoon takes its name from the ancient city which lies on the banks of this lagoon. The lagoon flanks the city on the east and north. In ancient times, this lagoon was connected to the sea and used as a natural port due to its depth in some parts.

The region is currently on the World Heritage List and the khawr is protected. The importance of this place lies in its combination of archaeology, history and nature. The archaeological park is considered to be the first of its kind in the Sultanate, serving to protect natural resources, attract tourists to the site and inform people of this important ancient city in the Governorate of Dhofar.

here the tour is over, and you have an your guide (team) can drop you in Salalah airport if you flay or you can drive back with them to Muscat through the high way or you can stay in salaah
