We start the tour by visiting a beautiful city, which is Taqah City, to see several old buildings in traditional Dhofar style, silver sands beach, and local angler’s boats. After that we visit Taqah Castle. This castle was built around an open courtyard offering its residents privacy and security and from its upper store, allows visitors views of the town, mountains and sea. Then we drive to Samahram Archeological City, which is titled to be of UNISCO. It is reported that the port acquired fame of Omani frankincense bound to (Balqees) the Queen of Sheba were loaded from Samharam Port.Then we drive to the most famous Valley in Dhofar (Wadi Darbat), crossing the highest mountain in Dhofar (Smahan mountain). In addition, we can make hiking to see the most famous waterfalls in Dhofar, which are Darbat Waterfalls. Later, we go to a charming coastal town called Mirbat. Historically it traded in horses and frankincense, more recently in abalone and from its fishing harbor, fish.

you will be met at the hotel for a full day East of Salalah Tour. Then, we can start to move to east side of salalah city. We start the tour by visiting a beautiful city, which is Taqah City. The first destination we go via the beach road of Taqah City, to see several old buildings in traditional Dhofar Governorate style, silver sands beach, and local angler’s boats. After that we visit Taqah Castle. Then we drive to Samahram Archeological City, which is titled to be of UNISCO. It is city and port. It is reported that the port acquired fame of Omani frankincense bound to (Balqees) the Queen of Sheba were loaded from Samharam Port, which is located east of (Salalah) City in the region located between Wilayt (Taqa) and (Mirbat). The port is also known as “Moshka Port” that was prescribed in two Greek scrolls dating back to the era between the first and second centuries AD.
