Cherry Blossom season in Hunza Valley normally the start of the spring season and lasts until the beginning of summers. Mostly, the cherry blossom season begins from 15 March to 30 April.its a sightseeing tour where traveler will travel on Karakorum highway which is old silk route, "An inspiration for James Hilton's Shangri-La is the Hunza Valley. Hilton visited Hunza a few years before Lost Horizon was published.famous for its cherry blossom season which arrives earlier then other parts, 1000 year old Altit and 800 Year old Baltit fort gives a commanding view of the valley, The valley itself is surrounded by mountains across the hunza river is the magnificent Rakaposhi 27th highest mountain right next to it are Spantik peak also known as golden peak, while on the back of karimabad are Hunza Peaks, Ultar 1 & 2 and Lady finger peaks,

Itinerary

Day 1: Islamabad-Besham

Pass By: Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Five hours journey through picturesque Abbottabad city & Manshera by newly build Hazara Express motorway

Pass By: Karakoram Highway, Hassanabdal Pakistan From Hassan Abdal to China border, Gilgit Pakistan
Our Driver would pick the travelers from Airport or Hotel in Islamabad and starts the journey towards Besham through Karakoram Highway, The Karakoram Highway is a 1,300-kilometre national highway which extends from Hasan Abdal in the Punjab province of Pakistan to the Khunjerab Pass in Gilgit-Baltistan, where it crosses into China and becomes China National Highway

Day 2: Besham -Gilgit

Stop At: Nanga Parbat, Astore Pakistan
Besham to Gilgit distance is ten hours with lunch break, with stops at Nanga Parbat view point at Karakorum Highway just after crossing raikot bridge after Chilas city
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Jaglot
This place of interest is the unique venue where three great mountain ranges of world make a knot. Himalayas, Karakoram and Hindu Kush, with their famous highest peaks (in Pakistan, and top 2, 3, & 4th in the entire world), Nanga Parbat, K-2 and Trich Mir, meet here and at almost on same place River Indus, flowing down from lofty mountains of Skardu, joins with river Gilgit, one its main tributaries.

Day 3: Gilgit to Karimabad,Hunza

Stop At: Danyore Hanging Bridge Photo Gallery & Restaurant, Near Danyore Rock Carvings-Inscriptions, KKH - Gilgit Rd, Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan
The Danyore Suspension Bridge is in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan, and is one of the oldest makeshift suspension bridges in the region. The bridge connects Danyor to the premises of the Karakoram University across the River Hunza.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Rakaposhi View Point, Rposhi hunza valley, Ghulmet 15650 Pakistan
One hour drive from Hunza and two hours drive from Gilgit city. Rakaposhi ( 27th Highest mountain in the world ) is view point, where travelers take a break for tea or lunch, Beautiful snow covered Rakaposhi peak peaking through the clouds and snow shining with sunlight is a breath taking view. Clean fresh and cold water stream from the glacier makes it even better.

Day 4: Karimabad City

Stop At: Baltit Fort, Karimabad Pakistan
Baltit Fort is situated in Karimabad, once was capital of the state of Hunza,the Baltit Fort stands on a artificially flattened spur below the Ulter Glacier. Strategically located with a commanding view of the Hunza Valley and its Tributaries, its on UNESCO world heritage list about 800 years old

Stop At: Altit Fort, Hunza Valley Main Altit Valley, Hunza Pakistan
The fort entrance opens up into the royal gardens, an apricot orchard grown over an irregular plain of lush green grass fields. A path filled with sawdust lead us through the gardens to the fort. Altit Fort is the most ancient surviving structure of Gilgit Baltistan. It is 1100 years old. For centuries, the fort was used by the Mirs of Hunza as royal residence.

Stop At: Eagles Nest, Karimabad Pakistan
Eagles Nest is located on Duikar view point in Hunza valley, at a height of about 10000 feet above sea level accesable by jeep from Hunza it is small hotel at scening point where tourist visit in early morning for sunrise or in evenings for sunset, it has magnificent views of Rakaposhi, Ultar, Golden peak & other snow capped mountains.

Stop At: Karimabad, Karimabad, Gilgit-Baltistan
Main bazaar of Hunza full of colorful shops locals selling souviners,handmade clothes and Hunza cap is a soft round-topped men's hat, typically of wool and found in any of a variety of earthy colors: brown, black, grey, shops are filled with local dry fruits (Dried Apricots, Apricot Nut, Almonds, Walnuts Mulberry, etc.), short stop at the famous Hunza Cafe for there renowned walnut cake,

Day 5: Attabad lake, Passu Cathedrals and Cherry Blossom

Stop At: Attabad lake Hunza, Hunza 15600 Pakistan
Attabad Lake, a teardrop miracle, is one of the masterpieces of nature lying in the Gojal valley of Hunza, true colours of cherry blossom season can be seen here

Stop At: Passu Glacier, Upper Hunza Valley (Gojal), Hunza 15750 Pakistan
Passu Glacier is situated in the south side of Passu village. Passu Peak is situated in the back side of the glacier. This glacier is linked with Batura Glacier and many other glaciers of the region

Stop At: Sost, Sost, Gilgit-Baltistan
Sost or Sust is a village in Gojal, Upper Hunza, Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan. It is the last town inside Pakistan on the Karakoram Highway before the Chinese border. It is elevated 2,800 meters above sea level. since the khunjerab pass officially opens in April we can not visit the pass if some one is visiting in March and Early April

Stop At: Sacred Rocks of Hunza (Haldeikish), N-35, Hunza, Nagar Khas, Gilgit-Baltistan
The Sacred Rock of Hunza is carved rock as well as a cultural heritage site in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The carvings on the rock dates back to the 1st Millennium AD. The rock is on a top of a hill which lies in east to the Hunza River.

Stop At: Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Hussaini glacier, Upper Hunza، Gojal, Hussaini
The Hussaini Suspension Bridge, over the Hunza River, connects Zarabad hamlet to Hussaini village. Hussaini is located at about 45 kms from Aliabad Hunza and 132 kms from Gilgit.

Day 6: Gilgit -Besham

Pass By: Gilgit, Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan
After souvenirs shopping at the famous NLI Bazaar travelers would head back to Besham about 10 hours plus drive

Day 7: Besham -Islamabad

Pass By: Islamabad, Islamabad, Islamabad Capital Territory
Travelers would be dropped at the designated hotel or airport after travelling from Besham to Islamabad which takes about 5 hours or more
