The Shah Faisal Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Pakistan and ranks third in the world, behind the Mecca mosque and the Madinah Mosque. There are three believers in various halls and on the ground. The mosque was named Shah Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, the king of Saudi Arabia because they contributed much to the construction. Built with Turkish architecture, the building features four tall Minars and a Bedouin-shaped hall far from the usual dome. It is located at the foot of the Margalla hills and offers the best views. The Faisal Mosque is a popular site for tourists to visit and meet on the other side of Pakistan.

Shakarparian is a historic spot with lush green gardens and another picnic spot in the capital, Islamabad. It is located near zero points, near the star and crescent monument that Shakarparian began.
