From forest hills walks to city mayhem with history and culture. This two day tour offers something for everyone. It’s designed to deliver an overview of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Itinerary

Day 1: Explore Islamabad's Nature!

Stop At: Margalla Hills, Block 9-E, Islamabad 44000 Pakistan
Begin the day with an early morning trek up the Margalla Hills. The hills run alongside Islamabad and are the foothills of the Himalayas. We trek to the top of the hills where we enjoy breakfast.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Shah Allah Ditta Caves, Islamabad 44000 Pakistan
We move to the centuries old Buddhist caves on the outskirts of Islamabad. Take some time to rest, explore and capture some photos of the picturesque scenery.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Faisal Mosque, Islamabad Pakistan
Built in 1976 Faisal Mosque was a gift by Shah Faisal from the people of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. The mosques contemporary architecture to made to look like an Arabian Bedouin desert tent.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Daman-e-Koh, Islamabad Pakistan
Damam-e-Koh offers a view that lays out the twin cities from a scenic vantage point. Be sure to take a look round the the stalls selling local artefacts.
Duration: 1 hour

• Breakfast: Desi Breakfast at the top of Margalla Hills after the hike is included.
Accommodation included: Overnight stay in a guesthouse or hotel

Day 2: Culture Day

Stop At: Lok Virsa Museum, Garden Avenue Shakarparian Hills, Islamabad 44000 Pakistan
The museum showcases cultural heritage from around Pakistan. After the museum take a walk round and see local artists and craftsmen working. You can purchase works here too if you like.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Saddar Bazar Rawalpindi, Adamjee Rd, Saddar, Rawalpindi, Punjab 46000, Pakistan
The old inner city narrow streets and bazaars of Rawalpindi have barely changed over the last century. You’ll find an array of shops, markets, food stalls all scrambling for attention as you walk through. It all makes for an interesting adventure which you’re sure to remember!

Stop At: Jamia Mosque, Bahria Intellectual Village Bahria Town Intellectual Village, Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan
One of Rawalpindi’s oldest mosques and showcases some intricate tile work and detailed frescos in vibrant colours.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Saidpur Village, Islamabad Pakistan
We end the trip with a stop at the historic Saidpur Village. Recently restored the village offers an isight into traditional Pakistan villages.
Duration: 1 hour
