Trails and Waterfalls of Santa Fe Veraguas

Our tour takes place in Santa Fe de Veraguas, a landscape blessed by crystal clear rivers and an abundance of waterfalls. A collection of trails connects the communities. The landscape and views are breathtaking and the waterfalls as diverse as one can imagine. This day after meeting in Santa Fe de Veraguas, we will explore the hiking trails of the region, learning about the history and culture of Santa Fe, in addition to the rich natural resources of the area. This is topped with a visit to a local waterfall for dip in the refreshing waters of the mountains.

With our tours we only employ local Certified Guides. Our guides have also completed a rigorous training program that includes not only knowledge (nature, history culture, politics, etc.), but also interpretation, meaning the ability to convey knowledge in a matter that is engaging and fitting for the audience. They must all complete a leadership course and annually renew their Wilderness First Aid (WFA) & CPR certifications.

Santa Fe town sits in the Highlands of Veraguas, a landscape blessed by crystal clear rivers and an abundance of waterfalls. A collection of trails connects the communities with crop fields and forested areas. The landscape and views are breathtaking and the waterfalls as diverse as one can imagine. This day you will explore in the company of a Certified Interpretive & Naturalist guides the hiking trails of the region, learning about the history and culture of Santa Fe, in addition to the rich natural resources of the area. Of course, this is topped with a visit to a local waterfall for dip in the cool, refreshing waters of the mountains.
