In the this package, we organize tours and perform shows for tourists on Cruise Ships berthing at Simpson Harbour in Rabaul.

The shows are performed in the scenic Rabaul Town, the ‘Pearl of the Pacific’.

Each shows takes just 3 minutes (The duration can be extended depending on demand). Each show is performed on stage, one at a time. The shows are performed one after another.

The whole show can take between 15 minutes to 8 hours, or even several days, depending on cruise ships stay duration.

The Cruise Ship Tour Package covers shows (nature/culture/history/adventure products), entertainment, expeditions, tours, transport & souvenirs…. So you will not have to worry about anything as everything will be taken care of… just relax and enjoy!

Program

Part 1 – Welcome – 9:30am

1a. Varboar/Gua

Enactment of a traditional warrior.

1.b Varlapang

Presentation of basket containing buai, daka kambang and Tabu (traditional shell money).

Wearing laplap

Traditional/Natural perfume (Kabi nut)

1.c Labar

Whip Dance – a welcome gesture

1.d Varvaliu

Royal welcome to be given at the entrance, upon arrival. Tourists will be carried on wooden thrones.

Part 2 – Adoption and Orientation/Briefing – 9:45am

Tourists will be traditionally adopted to clans using shell money. (Vamaitada)

Part 3 – Shows – 10:00am

The shows come under the various categories below:

Part 4 – Lunch – 12:00pm

After the tour of Rabaul town, wind down with cultural entertainment:
