6Day Machu Picchu Express Group Tour

To add an extra length of time in Cusco means for us to recommend you joining a Machu Picchu Express 6 Days.   An Express 6 days tour in Cusco shows you the best places for your enjoyment.  The Machu Picchu Express tour will begin at the moment of your arrival in Cusco city, follow by a train journey to the Sacred Valleys.  Having an amazing train journey on carriers fitted with wide windows will add up memorable moments of this trip .  The Machu Picchu Express 6 days give you the options to travel Maras & Moray.  Maras a natural salt mine on the outside terrain grounds and Moray an ingenious terraces in the form of circles similar of a  Roman colosseum in which the Incas seems to experiment on growing different types of seeds.

Day 1: ARRIVE TO CUZCO

After your arrival to Cusco, we will take you to the hotel and then join your guide for a briefing . Today, begin the day with a tour of Cusco enjoy the sights of Cusco´s of the day at leisure .

DAY 2 :EXPLORING CUSCO

OPTION 1:FULL DAY SACRED VALLEY TOUR

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00am. This is a full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting the colorful Indian market in Pisac . Followed by Pisac is Urubamba where we will have a lunch then we continue through to Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied town on the American continent. The last visit will be the Chinchero market. Chinchero is believed to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow.

Day 3:ON THE WAY TO AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHUPICCHU TOWN)

We will pick you up at 8:00am and take you to the train station. The train leaves at 11:30 am . After you arrive to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night. There will be plenty of time to relax if you want to have a hot bath in the natural springs!

Day 4:MACHU PICCHU IN ITS GLORY – BIG DAY!

Early breakfast at the hotel, then your guide will pick you up at 5:30am to take the bus station and board the bus up to the majestic Machu Picchu Inca citadel to catch the sunrise where you can take the classic photo (picture postcard shot) of this ancient. Then, we visit Machu Picchu itself with a walking tour for at least 2 hours, which is given by your guide, and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. Then we will board the train back to Poroy train station where we will be waiting for you and take you back to your hotel.

Day 5:TIME AT LEISURE

After breakfast, enjoy the beauty of Cusco with the optional tours.

OPTION 2:MARAS MORAY & SALT MINES (Additional Price: USD 40 per person).

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 AM an take you to Moray “The Inca agricultural greenhouse or laboratory”. Finally, you will arrive to the fascinating display of terraces in Moray. Moray boasts three amphitheater-like terraces made by the Incas. When we are done exploring Moray we will continue and visit the salt mines of Maras. This village is known as a former salt-producing center that is thought to date back all the way to pre-Inca times. 

OPTION 3:HALF DAY CITY TOUR (Additional Price: USD 30 per person).

We will pick you up at 1:00PM from your hotel to start the tour and visiting the following places.

Day 6:Departure from Cusco

After having breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the remaining time at Cusco city then in the afternoon we will drop off you to the airport to take your plane back to Lima.
