Itinerary

Day 1: AREQUIPA INN - TOUR TO THE CAMPIÑA

Stop At: Mirador Carmen Alto, Arequipa Peru
14:00 Hrs We pick you up from your respective Hotels to start the tour and visit the famous Mirador de Carmen Alto where we will observe the Chilina Valley and the 3 snow-covered mountains of the city such as the Misti, the Chachani and the Pichu Pichu
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Yanahuara, Suburb of Arequipa, Arequipa Peru
Then we will visit the district of Yanahuara where we will visit its famous colonial church of San Juan Bautista and its portals that are a set of beautiful sillar arches built during the 19th century
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Incalpaca, Calle Condor 100, Arequipa Peru
Later we will go to the Mini Zoo of Inca Alpaca to appreciate Llamas, Vicuñas and Huanacos.

Stop At: La Mansion del Fundador, San Juan de Dios 206-A Carretera Paisajista s/n Huasacache, Hunter, Arequipa Peru
Then we will drive our vehicle to the Founder's Mansion, a beautiful colonial era building where the founder of the city of Arequipa Garcí Manuel de Carbajal lived in the fifteenth century

Stop At: Molino de Sabandia, Camino Al Molino S/N. Sabandia, Arequipa 04000 Peru
Then we will travel through a spectacular Andean landscape to reach the Sabandia Hydraulic Mill, an impressive construction based on volcanic rock known as sillar, where you can see an old stone mill that was built in 1785

Day 2: COLCA CANYON - CHIVAY - YANQUE

Stop At: Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, Avenida Arequipa, Arequipa 04001 Peru
From 7:30 am the mobility passes through the different hotels to start our journey to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura road, bordering the Chachani snowy towards Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas ) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. Then we will visit the Bofedales de Tocra

where we will appreciate a variety of migratory birds, we will make a stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes, which is also the highest part of the road (4,910 m.s.), from where we will appreciate much of the western mountain range of the Andes.

Stop At: Plaza de Armas, Yanque Peru
13:00 Hrs. Arrival to the town of Chivay. Place where we will have lunch.
Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Plaza de Armas, Yanque Peru
Then we will move to the town of Yanque. Place where we will spend the night in a charming hotel united with nature.


Stop At: Uyo Uyo Archaeological Site, Yanque Peru
15:00 Pm we start our hike through the countryside of this town towards the archaeological ruins of Uyo Uyo. We will visit the countryside of this town where we will observe the way of life of the inhabitants. When arriving at these archaeological ruins we will observe the old constructions of the Collaguas inhabitants that date from 900 to 1000 years of antiquity in good state of conservation.

Stop At: Hot Springs Chacapi, Away From the Main Square Of Yanque 2 km, Yanque 04140 Peru
At the end of this walk we will visit the Thermal Baths of Chacapi to enjoy its thermal medicinal waters that are recommended for bone pain. It has a temperature of 35 degrees to 40 degrees.

Day 3: CRUZ DEL CONDOR - TRAVEL CHIVAY TO PUNO

Stop At: Mirador Cruz del Condor, Cabanaconde Peru
After having breakfast, we will head towards the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, where we can observe the majestic flight of the condors and the depth of the Colca Canyon. Upon returning to the village of Chivay we will visit the villages of PINCHOLLO, MACA, ACHOMA and YANQUE, where we will observe typical dances of the area as well as the Lito Models, Hanging Tombs, Colonial Churches and pre-Inca terraces.

12:00 PM Arrival in Chivay. Lunch.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Abra Patapampa, Carretera 1SE, 30 Kms south of Chivay, Chivay 04145 Peru
13:10 Pm. We will depart from Chivay to the city of Puno where we will make a stop at the Patapampa lookout point to observe the western Cordillera of the Andes and the main snowcapped mountains of the Arequipa region.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Stone Forest, Patahuasi Peru
Stop at Patahuasi to drink hot mate and appreciate the flora and fauna of the place.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Laguna Lagunillas, Santa Lucia Peru
This viewpoint has a panoramic view of the small lakes is also the habitat of flamengos, Andean gulls and other birds, without a doubt, a great opportunity to take pictures of the flora and fauna of this charming place.

19:30 Pm Arrival in the city of Puno (Plaza de armas) and transfers to hotels near the parade ground.
