Ebike the Sacred Valley half day
This is an incredibly scenic ride through the left hand side of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, following the River Urubamba. While the other side of the valley is full of tourists, by travelling along what was once the main road, but is now a quiet dirt track, we show you a side of the valley very different to what most see.
By using Ebikes, the ride becomes suitable for people of different levels and doable for anyone that knows how to ride a bike.
We are one of the very few companies to hold the Dircetur Adventure Licence to operate biking.
We have the best fleet of bikes in Cusco and are the only company to have a dedicated mechanic. Our Ebikes are Haibikes with full suspension to improve your comfort and safety. Helmets are Bern.
Itinerary
Ebike the Sacred Valley along a quiet route, far from the crowds. Ebikes have an electric motor which you can turn on or off, to assist you when you need it- making cycling fun for everyone.
You meet your guide at 9 am in the Museo de Café with a fifty-minute drive to Taray, a small village across the river from Pisac.
Here we unload your Ebikes and set them up for you. Your guide will give you a briefing and you can get used to the bikes by riding around the quiet main square.
We ride on a dirt road along the valley floor. This lovely route passes local villages and old haciendas, where traditional farming methods are still used. All set beneath the backdrop of the snow-capped Urubamba mountain range.
You have a support vehicle on hand to carry your bags and refill you with water. We will stop for snacks along the way. You ride past the villages of Qoya, Lamay, and Calca and on to Urubamba. At a total distance of 40km, the Ebikes make it an enjoyable half-day, within reach of anyone. Then we return to Cusco in our private transport.
