Itinerary

Start your day with pick-up at your hotel first thing in the morning. Tour the rugged landscape of Humantay for a few hours until you reach the town of Mollepata, after having breakfast we will continue for 1 more hour on our transport to Soraypampa where the hike will begin. It will ascend for about 2 hours and you will be amazed by the snowy peaks of Humantay and Salkantay that surround the lagoon. Learn about the native flora and fauna on the fly thanks to your guide. Once you reach the lagoon, take your time to enjoy the view of the lagoon and the snow-capped peaks in the background. Then start the descent and enjoy a relaxed lunch in the village where you had breakfast. You will return to Cuzco and you will be left in the Plaza Regocijo, one block from the central square of Cuzco. This excursion is recommended for people with good physique who have acclimatized to the altitude. It is also possible to rent a horse (not included) if you do not want to go hiking.
