Start the tour through the pre-Hispanic history of Peru by visiting the Huaca del Dragón or the Huaca del Arco Iris, one of the emblems of the city of Trujillo. Get to know this temple surrounded by a wall, whose decoration was dedicated to the Rainbow, as a symbol of fertility and rains by the Chimu culture.

The next stop is in the Citadel of Chan Chan, the capital of the Chimor empire that was the largest city in pre-Hispanic America, located in the coastal desert of northern Peru. Enter the Nik-An Palace, walk through its ceremonial plazas and admire its shrines, granaries and cemeteries. Finally, visit Huanchaco, an ancient fishermen's cove where you will get to know the Caballitos de Totora, old boats with which the ancient tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained.
