The adventure begins when a vehicle picks you up at your hotel in Puno to take you to the pre-Inca cemetery located in the Sillustani region. This cemetery is famous for housing funerary towers of the Colla kingdom, which can measure up to 12 meters high. This archaeological site is located on the shores of Lake Umayo and is surrounded by a stunning natural landscape, so you can enjoy an incredible view. On the way you will visit a waru waru, that is, a wheat and barley crop whose irrigation system is based on an old preinca technique.
