Huchuy Qosqo (Quechua: "Little Cuzco" also called Yuchuy Cuzco) is an archaeological site 50 km north of Cusco, in Peru. It is located at an altitude of 3,600 meters, above the city of Lamay, in the district of Calca, province of Calca, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

But unlike the aforementioned places Huchuy Qosqo has a peculiar architecture: the buildings have been built on polished stone bases of fine finish, with clay plaster (they are the best preserved parts) and the highest peaks are made of adobe.

Operates: Our tour will begin with the pick-up from your hotel between 6:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. Beginning at 7:00 am, the tour will begin. Having Chinchero as the first stop point, we can appreciate the extensive fields of crops, which have been cultivated since ancient times. We travel along the shores of the Piuray lagoon, towards the community of Tauca (3762 masl) where our walk begins. We follow a dirt path, with a gentle slope towards the Pucajasa pass (4393 masl), where we will have a spectacular view of the Urubamba mountain range. This step is about 200 meters long. We started our descent and found sections of the Inka trail, and we can also see radical changes in the ecological levels. We arrived at Huchuy Qosqo (3688 masl), where we enjoyed our travel snack. After a brief descent, we will begin our tour of the Archaeological Complex, listening to the history of this place by the guide, after enjoying the Archaeological Center of Huchuy Qosqo and the spectacular view of the Sacred Valley we will descend in 2 hours to the town of Lamay ( 2938 masl), where we will have our Lunch. Then we will board our transportation back to the city of Cusco. We will finish our tour at approximately 6:00 p.m. Leaving it at your hotel in Cusco.
