Itinerary

You will become a farmer for a day and learn about Andean agricultural techniques using ancestral tools from the community of Huayllafara, which is located 30 minutes from the city of Lamay, in the Sacred Valley.

- At pick up the driver will ask for you at the hotel's front desk and guide you to your private transportation.
- Once in the vehicle you will head towards Huayllafara, located between the mountains, don't worry about the dirt road, the drivers drive there daily.
- Upon arrival at the community, the locals will give you a warm welcome.
- You will visit the interpretation center, where they will explain the diversity of crops and all the mysteries of Andean agriculture. Also, they will explain the importance of the wind, moon, sun, and rain for agriculture and rituals used to connect with Pachamama.
– After theory comes practice! You will become a farmer and apply all the harvesting techniques from the community. Learn to use ancestral tools like the chaquitalla, the cuti, and the shovel to plow the land and be part of their agricultural activities.
- Once the learning venture ends, you will return to your hotel.
