Although the word Perú almost immediately evokes the images of Machu Picchu, an empire founded by the Incas its possible to know the impressive archaeological patrimony inherited by civilizations more ancient that give testimony of their art, customs, rites and development.
Itinerary
Day 1: CITY TOURS CUSCO
Stop At: Cusco 08007, Peru
• Transfer from the airport in Cusco to your hotel. You will then have the rest of the morning free to rest and enjoy your surroundings at leisure.
• About 2pm we will depart on a CITY TOUR of CUSCO, visiting the most important sites in the local area both Colonial and Incan: The Cathedral, Koricancha, Archaeological Complex of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.
• Koricancha: Next stop is Koricancha, the principal temple of the Incas.
• Sacsayhuaman: We continue to the archeological sites situated outside of Cusco; the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a Stone fortress built by the Incas on three platforms.
• Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths, considered a place for the worship of the water.
• Qenko, here we can observe a huge Stone block that looks like a Puma as well as canals, passages and stairways engraved with animals
• Pucapucara was an administrative and military center formed by passages, stairways, fortified towers and alcoves.
• This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the city of Cusco in all its splendour. You will marvel at Spanish colonial buildings built on the foundations of ancient Incan constructions.
• We transfer you back to your hotel.
Recommendations: Please, take your entrances tickets, BTG (general ticket), koricancha entrance, and the Cathedral entrance, also take warm clothing, rain ponchos because in the upper part in Sacsaywaman, its windy, cold and sometimes rainy.....thanks

Day 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
• After breakfast in the hotel we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. 8:00 a.m. The agency will pick you up at your hotel.
Pisac,
the gateway to the Sacred Valley has a huge artisan market which will tantalise all of your senses; vibrant colours, rich traditions and the aromas of local cuisine being prepared in the market square. We will have lunch in Urubamba, a short drive from Pisac and then continue on to
• Urubamba: Lunch buffet at Restaurant Tunupa that offers typical plates, novo andino food and food from the province of Urubamba
OLLANTAYTAMBO
• Ollantaytambo: After our lunch we will visit the archaeologic site of Ollantaytambo.
• The city of Ollantaytambo is best known for its ruins, and for the spot where the Inca emperor Manco Inca was able to defeat the Spanish in a set-piece battle. The finely cut rocks and plantation terraces were very large obstacles for the Conquistadors to surpass. The fortress was also used by Manco to conduct successful attacks on Francisco Pizarro and other Conquistadors who were based in Lima.
• During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who conquered the region, built the town and a ceremonial centre.
Aguas Calientes:
• 16:36 p.m. We board our train that will take us to the village of Aguas Calientes.
• 18:10 p.m. Arrival in the village of Aguas Calientes.
• Pick-up at the train station in Aguas Calientes and meeting with the guide that will take us to Machupicchu tomorrow.

Day 3: MACHU PICCHU TOUR
Stop At: Sacred Valley of the Incas, 0051 Peru
• Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
• We take the bus to the Machu Picchu sanctuary at the time we agreed on with our guide. (30 min bus ride).
• We present tour entrance tickets to Machu Picchu and begin our visit.
• immediately recognisable as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. At the base of Machu Picchu, several thousand feet below, the raging waters of the mighty Urubamba river can be seen winding its path through the Sacred Valley.
• With guide in tow, we will extensively explore the site including all of the main constructions, Temples, Towers, the Solar Clock or Intiwatana, etc.
• Our guide will give us a 2.5 hours guided tour.
• After the guided tour we will have some time on our own to walk around in Machupicchu.
• Return to the village of Aguas CalientesLunch buffet in Aguas Calientes (Restaurant el Apu Inti or Indio Feliz)
• Time to visit the handicraft market in Aguas Calientes.
• 14:36 or 19:00 p.m. We aboard the Inka Rail executive class train and return to Ollantaytambo (Travel time about 1 hour 40 min)
• P.m. Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station and transfer to Cusco (2-hour min).
• Arrival in Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
NOTE: Due to the seasons demands the time tables for the trains may vary.
If you want to travel in the Perurail vistadome train or the Inca Rail first class train, you will have to pay the difference.
