Maras Moray Salt Mines Cusco

MORAY
An impressive journey of 20 km with a view of the beautiful snow-capped mountains of Chicon and Veronica in the Cordillera Vilcanota as a backdrop we continue to Moray. In Moray, we will visit the "greenhouse or Inca agricultural laboratory", which consists of four amphitheater-type platforms.

MARAS / SALINERAS ( Salt mines )
Located 7 miles from Moray at an altitude of 3, 380 m is a small town, like a model of a miniature city. Famous for its salt mines, composed of about 3000 small wells with an average area size of approximately 5 m².

The Sacred Valley is true to its name, an impressive area that combines all the natural beauty of the Andes with the incredible ingenuity of the Inca industry. However, equally worthy of wonder, although much less explored are the two small cities in the middle of the Valley, between Pisac and Ollantaytambo: Maras and Moray. Passed in favor of the most famous beauties of the Sacred Valley, these two places offer the perfect opportunity to get off the beaten track and have more intimacy with the Inca history.
