Pachacamac is one of the most impressive archaeological places in the central coast of Peru, located in the Lurin valley 31 km from Lima city. A sacred and ceremonial site, dating back to the begginnings of christianity, where thousands of pilgrims converged to pay tribute and consult the Pachacamac oracle. The Pachacamac archaeological complex is three times bigger than Machu Picchu and situated near Lima, this is an ideal alternative for travelers with no time to visit Cusco.
