The Classic Inca Trail is the most famous in all of South America and is ranked as one of the top 5 trails in the world, according to Nat Geo magazine. Its length is only 43 km, combining mountainous landscapes, forests, subtropical jungle, view of snowy hills and Inca ruins. The final destination of this trail is the mysterious lost Inca citadel, Machu Picchu, where you will enter directly through Inti Punku or “Puerta Del Sol”, where you can see the dawn of the day.
