The Palccoyo mountain is another colorful rainbow mountain in Cusco – Peru with an altitude of 4980 meters above sea level, the landscape here is magnificent since it awaits a natural coloration, this coloration is given by the presence of sedimentary stones in erosion.

This day we will start with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, from 5:00am – 5:30am and then drive to the south valley of Cusco for 3 hours until we reach the foot of the Palccoyo mountain where before starting with our hike we will enjoy our breakfast at over 4,900 meters above sea level.

Then we will start with our trek to the Palccoyo Mountain that will take us 30 minutes one way, from there we will have breathtaking views of the Palccoyo mountain range, as well as one of the biggest mountains of Cusco Ausangate (6,384 meters above sea level).

Here our tour guide will explain the importance of these mountains and the reason of color that we have in these mountains.

We will also visit the forest of stones that is a mistical atraction to this place and we are sure, you will like it since it is perfect for lovers of nature and trekking.

After we spend a good time, we will return by the same route to take our transport and drive for a lapse of 1 hour, to enjoy our just prepared delicious lunch with the views of the mountains that sacred valley has.

Afterward we return to Cusco but before we will make a stop in the town of Checacupe to appreciate the suspension Inca bridge and the colonial bridge, you can take some pictures and if you like you can walk on the suspension bridge, here you can make use of the hygienic services and subsequently we drive to the city of Cusco.
