Day 1 : Chonta Condor Canyon and Cconoc

07:00 – 13:00 : Pick up – Transportation to Chonta Condor Canyon – Hiking

We depart for the adventure at 7am from your hotel in Cusco. We drive to the town of Limatambo and along the way we will stop at viewpoints to take photos of the amazing Andes, and Salkantay mountain.We then continue driving through beautiful mountain scenery. We will continue our tour driving uphill on the dirt road towards to the community of Chonta.

Upon arrival we hike 1 ½ hours (moderate difficulty) reaching the lookout of Hahuacco, which boasts great views of the Apurimac canyon and Vilcabamba mountain range. With a little bit of luck we will enjoy our Condor sighting activity; it is common to see the majestic condors soaring in their natural habitat and flying over the Chonta canyon.

13:00 – 19:00 : Lunch – Cconoc hot springs – Transportation to Abancay – Dinner

In the afternoon we walk back down to Chonta for 1 ½ hours then we will then meet up with our trekking chef and enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared, hot lunch.

After lunch, we will catch our private van and continue to Cconoc hot springs and we can relax and enjoy the hot water. After that we continue to Abancay City for dinner and sleep in a Hotel.

Day 2 : Pampachiri Smurf Village and Rock Forest

06:00 – 13:00 : Breakfast – Transportation to Pampachiri – Smurfs House and Stone Forest

We will wake up early (about 6:00am) and after breakfast in the hotel, we drive to Pampachiri through beautiful scenery, on this way is possible to see wildlife (animals like vizcachas, vicuñas, wild horses, etc).

After 3 hours driving we will arrive to the Smurfs House, and meet a local family who lives there and learn more about their lifestyle. This place is a rocky formation that resembles those mushroom-shaped houses. After being about 40 minutes there, we continue 20 minutes driving to Pampachiri Stone Forest (Bosque de Piedras) which is a formation of hundreds of stones in the shape of cones by the eruption of two volcanoes giving a natural volcanic formation where we will have the guided tour for 2 hours guided tour, and a short trekking.

13:00 – 20:00 : Lunch – Transportation to Abancay – Cusco

We will then meet up with our trekking chef and enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared, hot lunch. After lunch, we will catch our private van back to Cusco. We will drop you off at your hotel or Regocijo Plaza around 16:00 – 17:00
