Pitusiray Trek to Machu Picchu 4 days
The trek to Pitusiray gives us the opportunity to relive the history of the Pitusiray
and discover a non-tourist trail surrounded by the beauty of the Andes and get
into the living culture of Quechua communities from the top of the Sacred Valley
of the Incas to finally reach Machu Picchu.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco
Stop At: Cusco, Valle Sagrado, Huaran, Huaran, Valle Sagrado, Calca 08120, Peru
We start from Cusco in the direction of Huaran where we start our walk to the community of Cancha Cancha where we will spend the night. Upon arrival in Huaran, we will explore the town and then have lunch. After lunch we start our walk to Cancha Cancha where we will spend the night in the house of a family in the community.

Day 2: Pitusiray and Sahuasiray
Stop At: Huaran, 28B 800, 08120, Peru
Early in the morning we go to Pitusiray and Sahuasiray to explore and relive the
Inca history of the Pitusiray. Early in the morning we will go to Cancha Cancha Saja where we will leave all the equipment to camp and then continue to the snow for exploration. At the end of the day we will return to the camp to spend the night and observe the stars.

Day 3: Huaran - Ollantaytambo
Stop At: Ollantaytambo Sanctuary, Ollantaytambo 08676, Peru
Return to Huaran. After breakfast we go to the beginning of our trek in the town of Huaran to be taken to Ollantaytambo in van to spend the night.

Early in the morning we took the train to Aguas Calientes to explore the wonder of the world with our guide. A day without much walking since we will dedicate ourselves entirely to exploration. At the end we took our train to Cusco. The trek to Pitusiray gives us the opportunity to relive the history of the Pitusiray and discover a non-tourist trail surrounded by the beauty of the Andes and get into the living culture of Quechua communities from the top of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to finally reach Macchu Picchu.
