Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Fondo Huaran - Cancha Cancha - Acopata

Stop At: Lares Trek, 08000 Peru
We will pick you up from your hotel to drive to the Sacred Valley for about 1 hour and half, for the beginning of the trek. We will walk about 6 hours through the Cancha Cancha communities and along the river of the same name. We will reach our campment located in Acopata.
Duration: 6 hours

Day 2: Acopata - Pachacutec Pass - Quishuarani

Stop At: Lares Trek, 08000 Peru
We will start the day going uphill for about 2 hours and half, to reach the highest point of the trek : the Pachacutec pass at 4780 m.We will then hike down to a beautiful lake for approx 2 hours, where we will have our lunch break. In the afternoon we will continue the descent into the valley for about 1 hour and half, and we will camp closed by the village of Quishuarani.

Day 3: Quishuarani - Cuncani - Lares Hot Spring - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Stop At: Lares Trek, 08000 Peru
Today we follow another valley and climb up the 2nd pass of Willcaccasa mountain for about 3 hours. After the pass we descend for about 2 hours to reach Cuncani and then the hot springs of Lares, where we will have a well deserved rest and lunch.
