Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu 2 days

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located in the route Cusco - Machu Picchu and encloses in its mountains beautiful Inca constructions. Visiting these archaeological centers will complete your visit to Machu Picchu.

Also our tour includes dinner and accommodation in a basic accommodation in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town

• Day 2: Machu Picchu (Citadel of Machu Picchu).

Itinerary

Day 1: DAY 1: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS.

Stop At: Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo 08676 Peru
Our transfer (Staff of the agency) will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco from 7:15 to 7:40 am and guide you to our tourist transport to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas taking the route Cusco - Pisac - Urubamba.

The first archaeological site that we will visit is the archeological place of Pisac which is located at the top of the chain of the mountains that form the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After a guided tour of approximately 45 to 60 minutes, we will return to the town of Pisac and visit its small but spectacular local market. Then we will go to the city of Urubamba where we will have a delicious lunch at a local tourist restaurant.

Finally, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the archaeological place of the same name for approximately 45 minutes.
Duration: 7 hours

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
After visiting the archeological place of Ollantaytambo, we will stop at the town's train station to board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) and spend the night.

The next day we will visit the archaeological site of Machu Picchu.

IMPORTANT: Today we will spend the night in Aguas Calientes to recover energies and visit the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu with total tranquility the next day.

• Lunch: Buffet lunch in a local restaurant in Urubamba city
• Dinner: Dinner in a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes town

Day 2: DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU (CITADEL OF MACHU PICCHU).

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
Finally the big day has arrived. Our guide will go to your hotel to pick you up and take you to the town's bus station from where you will board the bus that will take you to the archaeological center of Machu Picchu. After registering at the entrance door, you will visit Machu Picchu for 2 hours with your guide. Finally, you have to go to the bus station to take the bus that will take you back to Aguas Calientes where you will board the train that will take you to the Ollantaytambo train station where we will be waiting for you in order to bring you back to the city of Cusco.

REMEMBER: We have different options for the train back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo train station, at 2:30 pm, 2:55 pm, 4:22 pm, 6:20 pm

The tour will finish aprox. at 9 pm. It will also depends of the availability of the train ticket, during the high season it is really difficult to find train back tickets from Machu Picchu Town to Ollantaytambo train station, we recommend to book this tour with 2 or 3 weeks in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
