Stunning Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain 1 Day Tour from Cusco

This is one of a handful of locations in the world where you can see the layers of sediment in these unique colours of the rainbow. The mountain is situated at around 4,800 metres (15,750 feet) above sea level and is absolutely spectacular with snow capped peaks, red earth and moody skies surrounding the mountain. On the drive to the mountains we will see alpacas, llamas and farming villages as well.

Itinerary

Stop At: Cerro Colorado Vinicunca, Apv- Tipon-n11, Cusco 08004 Peru

We will arrive after 3.5 hours drive from Cusco in our private transport and then walk for about 45 minutes to the rainbow mountain viewpoint. We will spend about 30-60 minutes exploring and appreciating the natural beauty of the site before heading back down to our vehicle. We will have lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Cusco.
