The Ancient City Of Cusco

Cusco is the main tourist center of Peru and one of the main destinations of South America. The attractions begin in the same city and extend along its valleys and snowy peaks, until reaching the very marvel of the world. Your guide will accompany you through all the places indicated in the program and will make you feel the magic of our City, the service includes private mobility from the moment of your arrival as well as guide in the requested language, accommodation, train, tourist bus and tourist tickets.

Day 1: LIMA

Pick-up from Lima airport and transfer to the hotel, located in the heart of the Miraflores district of Lima.  

Day 2: LIMA – CUSCO

Morning visit of Lima, the capital of Peru is Miraflores. In the afternoon, departure to the airport to take a flight down to Cusco, the country’s most important city culturally and historically-speaking. Transfer to your hotel located in the historical center. 

Day 3: CUSCO

With its Inca ruins and colonial architecture, Cusco is undoubtedly one of the most unforgettable parts of your trip to Peru. In the morning, you’ll set off to the highest point of Cusco, where you’ll have a panoramic view over the city. Following this, you’ll visit Sacsayhuaman, before walking back down through the winding streets of San Blas. Along this walk, you’ll see some ancient Inca walls, as well as the famous 12-angled stone. You’ll then continue your walk through the historical center of the city, with its gorgeous plazas and Andean charm, over to San Pedro market. 

Day 4: CUSCO - PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO

In the morning you’ll set off to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Your first stop will the Pisac, one of the biggest archeological sites in the region and also one of the latest local artisan markets. Next you’ll visit Ollantaytambo and its fortress. From Ollantaytambo, you’ll take the train over to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon, in anticipation of the highlight of this tour the very next morning. 

Day 5: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO

The most anticipated moment has come, today you will get to visit one of the most important wonders of the world: Machu Picchu. where the mysteries of the ancient Inca city await. During this visit, you’ll discover the main ruins on the site and you also have the option of going up to Huayna Picchu (entry is not included in the price). Return by bus to Aguas Calientes and return journey back to Ollantaytambo by train. 

Day 6: OLLANTAYTAMBO - MORAY - MARAS – CUZCO

Departure over to Moray in the morning by private vehicle, which is such an enigmatic place for visitors. Not very far from Moray you’ll find the Maras salt mines. Depending on the time of day, you’ll be able to see the thousands of white terraces which formed the Maras Salt Mines. Your final stop will be the village of Chinchero, which boasts a beautiful Spanish-style church, built on an ancient Inca site

Day 7: CUSCO

After this incredible experience, you’ll have a free day to say goodbye to this beautiful city and explore it at your own pace.

Day 8: CUSCO - LIMA – END OF THE TOUR

Transfer to the airport to take your fight back to Lima, where this wonderful Peruvian experience will culminate.
