Once the groups are welcome, they are provided with aprons and caps to move them to the kitchen area. The activity is divided into period: pre food preparation, cooking, presentation and tasting. Each participant performs all the necessary activities to complete the dishes. The instructor ensures that each process is carried out correctly. The activity is related by anecdotes, references to the traditional cooking culture, and secrets of the cooking processes that the local people has developed over time. Some prints described include video images for a better understanding.

Prepare delicious meals from Arequipa´s traditional cook and discover the secrets that the Picanterias have used for hundreds of years to cook these delicious meals. The experience is accompanied with a lot of historical reference and considering equivalent products in case the originals are not gotten at your home. Here you cook each recipe and we make sure you can cook them when you return home. It finish with a banquet where you can enjoy what each participant has cooked. Equipment and supplies included.
