Stop At: Big Lagoon, El Nido, Palawan Island Philippines

This is perhaps the most popular place for sightseeing in El Nido. Since the boat are no longer allowed inside, you will take a scenic kayak ride through the shallow channel and see stunning views of the limestone cliffs. If the water is low, it is possible to walk through the shallow water. Big lagoon is not a site for snorkeling, but the lovely hues of the water and interesting vegetation on the cliff will do more to impress you.

Stop At: Entalula Island, El Nido, Philippines

Small lagoon is one of the highlights of EL NIDO. A small gap exists between two rocks, creating an entrance to the lagoon. Inside, you will swim through peaceful, crystal clear water and
explore two small caverns. There is also the chance of seeing the Palawan horn bill, a bird endemic to Palawan.

The Secret Lagoon was much smaller than the Secret Beach, enclosed by hard limestone cliffs. The temperature inside was much cooler because it is constantly under the shade. And sometimes the big waves and bad weather condition don’t give you permit to go there.
