Stop At: Snake Island (Vigan Island), Bacuit Bay, El Nido, Palawan Island Philippines
As the name suggests, snake island resembles a snake. It is not an actual island but a sand bar connected to Vigan Island. You can swim and sunbathe here or just stroll around.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Cudugnon Cave, Bacuit Bay, El Nido, Palawan Island Philippines
Cudugnon Cave is a natural wonder that is a testament to the powerful forces of nature as shown in eerily beautiful stalactites and stalagmites along with equally fascinating interiors and elevated cavernous ceilings. The crevices of its cave roof are inhabited by barn swallows and insectivorous bats.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Cathedral Caves, El Nido, Palawan Island Philippines
Situated in Pinasil Island in El Nido, Palawan, there is an open chamber at the center of the Island where you can see that it has a shape of a cathedral surrounded by high rocky cliffs. The greenish blue water may be inviting for a swim but take note that it is dangerous. Cathedral cave is also the home for several species which are very territorial venomous sea snakes so it's better to stay in the boat.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Pinagbuyutan Island, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
Pinagbuyutan Island may not have the powdery white sand of other beaches in this part of Palawan, but what makes it special is the colorful and thriving underwater ecosystem beneath its glass-like waters. It also has a beautiful beachscape that is picturesque even when you take pictures from different angles.
