Stop At: Kalanggaman Island, Palompon, Leyte Province Philippines

After your guide picks you up from your accommodation, they will be taking you to Palompon Tourism Office to register. From there, you will be going to Palompon Port, where you will be riding a boat going to Kalanggaman Island.

Tourists are welcomed by the island’s gorgeous white sand beach lined with palm trees. The sandbar is best viewed in the morning so make sure that you capture your photos. Enjoy walking along the stretch of white sand before taking a dip in the island’s pristine waters.

Feel free to roam around the vicinity before enjoying a local style lunch by the beach. Aside from swimming, you may also try the other activities available in the island, such as kayaking and snorkeling. Banana boats and jet skis are also available for rent.

Kalanggaman Island is not only beautiful from above, but it is also rich in marine biodiversity. Because of its calm waters, it is easy to explore underwater where you will witness an abundance of corals, marine life, and varieties of fish.
