From Krakow to ZAKOPANE Tatra National Park

The National Park covers one of the two Alpine mountain ranges in Poland. Located at the foothills of the Tatra Mountains, Zakopane offers an impressive skiing infrastructure. However, tourists come here regardless of the season to enjoy the local nature and learn the special culture of mountain people.

The driver will pick you up from your hotel/ apartment in Krakow in the morning. The road to Zakopane will take about 2 hours. On the way you will visit the village of Chochołów, famous for its 150-year old wooden log cabins. If you like cheese - then be sure to taste the local sheep cheese - "oscypek". Then take a ride by funicular railway to the top of Mount Gubałówka. Enjoy beautiful mountain views.

Visit a charming wooden old parish church and old unique cemetery.

In order to say that you really saw Zakopane - visit the large regional market. After that, you can eat at one of the local restaurants serving local cuisine.

The driver will tell you where to buy tickets and what to see.
In the evening he will take you back to Krakow.
