Bees and Hives is an activity performed for families, groups of friends, companies or simply for couples. With this experience we want you to learn about the bees, to feel that they are our friends, to live an exceptional day and to leave this activity with a fabulous and positive memory about the bees.

In the morning, fruit, juice and cookies are available. And when we come back from the apiary visit people are always full of appetite and we start lunch.

By taking place in a privileged space of contact with nature and the bees, the activity consists of 3 (three) phases.

1st phase:

Short explanatory session about bees and their importance, how they live, what they eat, about pollination and the impact on our lives as well as other aspects of hives, such as honey and wax in a fun way.

2nd phase:

Accompanied by more beekeepers, there is a safety briefing, we put on our suits (we inspect the protection) and we visit the apiary in small groups; the hives we open are hives with a very friendly personality, they are small swarms and used to the human presence.

3: phase:

In this final part a lunch made with organic products and tasting honey, pollen and other beehive products.

DURATION

About 4 (four) hours.

PARTICIPANTS

Maximum of 25 (twenty five) people, including children.

Minimum of 2 (two people) including children.

Only children under 5 (five) years old are allowed.

 The activity includes insurance and all materials necessary for the activities to be performed.

The activity will be held near Loures (Lousa). The meeting point and GPS coordinates will be sent later.
