Caldeirão Verde Levada Walk in Small Groups

The Caldeirão Verde is a walk through the Laurissilva forest, is one of the treasures of Madeira.

With a wide variety of fauna and flora along the path that is next to a Levada, passing through small tunnels.
Madeira's famous "Levadas" water channels pass through small tunnels that were built to transport water from the north coast to the south coast of the island for agriculture.
During the trail you will have an official mountain guide, where you will feel safe and informed about the history of nature.
In the middle of the walk is the Caldeirão Verde with a large waterfall, where we stop for a picnic, is a wonderful place to feel the true nature of Madeira, smell the plants and hear the birds singing.
In this walk you will find a wide variety of trees and plants of the green valleys Laurissilva forest, unique landscapes with waterfalls and water channels.

At the end of the walk, we stop after the walk for a typical Madeira drink.
