Itinerary

The Cesaredas Plateau is a limestone territory of about 140 million years, which presents itself as an extension of the Aire / Montejunto mountain system. Along the way, we can see fields of lapias and the presence of several algae and caves, which guard an important archaeological estate. In relation to the history of the place can be mentioned the existence of prehistoric remains, the permanence of the Romans between the 2nd century BC and V AD and the historical event of the Battle of Roliça during the Napoleonic invasions.
