Belém is a quiet area on the banks of the Tejo River that remind us of the glorious time of the maritime past of Portugal, the discoveries.

Among the green lawns we can explore several historical monuments. The grandiose Monastery of the Jerónimos and glimpse the beauty of Padrão dos Descobrimentos wich is shaped like a ship that stands out by the river.

On the north bank of the river we can visit Torre the Belém of the 16th century.

All this enjoying the breeze, the beauty and peace that the Tejo river transmit us.
