Douro Valley Hike Around Villages and Picnic

This is a walk along ancient Douro paths, once used by locals to move to the grounds or to go to fairs for supplies. Some sections still retain their original shape.

In this experience it will be possible to observe and visit three small villages and understand that life here is in throne of the vineyards and olive groves.

It is a walk of 11.5km, of moderate degree of difficulty, and with a gain of elevation of 690 meters.

This experience is a walk through three small Douro villages. During the walk we will talk about the local culture and ways of life and end with a picnic which can optionally be done in the middle of the walk.
