Our tour starts in Porto direction “Douro Valley”, a wonder of nature with unique landscapes, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2001. You will visit 1 famous wine producing estates, where you will Delight with 7 different wines. Visit one two of the most beautiful viewpoints in the world, indulge in the local gastronomy, savoring typical lunch specialties in a renowned regional restaurant, with olive oil in the region, in one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the WORLD;

Descriptive:

Our tour starts in Porto Direction the unique and wonderful “Douro Valley” with a stop in Amarante city.

Start by visiting One of the most incredible viewpoints in the world, with a landscape that can take our breath away, and makes us think how beautiful nature can be.

Next, in this same viewpoint, delight with the local gastronomy savoring typical lunch specialties in a renowned regional restaurant, with regional olive oil tasting.

We will visit the first Famosíssima Adega / Quinta da Region, on a tour where you will observe and walk through the vineyards, learn the whole process of elaboration of several wines, from the harvest to the tuning, and then an exceptional proof of some of the best wines from this respected Quinta.

We will continue to the city Peso da Régua, originally established by the Romans. Upon arrival, enjoy the breathtaking views from the iron bridge. Then we will continue towards Pinhão, where we will visit the second local Winery / Farm, where we will walk on a tour along the vineyards and the traditional wineries

allowing to enjoy a beautiful landscape followed by a commented tasting of wines from the Port of

category.

We will continue towards Pinhão, where we will go through historic wineries and consecrated estates as you cross the road on the banks of the Douro River.

Then the visit to the village of Pinhão.

Still in Pinhão we also visited the local train station to appreciate the 24 panels of Portuguese handmade tile with unique paintings of this magnificent region.
